Project Finance Lead Location: BAE Systems Broad Oak (Hybrid) Contract: 12 Months Rate: £30.00 PAYE / £40.33 Umbrella (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Project Finance Lead to join a high-profile programme, providing financial leadership and commercial support across a portfolio of complex projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, partnering with project teams to drive financial performance and support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for assigned projects.

Provide financial insight and challenge to project managers and key stakeholders.

Monitor project costs, risks, and opportunities to ensure accurate financial performance.

Produce monthly financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Support business cases, investment decisions, and project reviews.

Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance, and internal policies.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial information.

Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

Key Skills & Experience Previous experience in a Project Finance, Project Controls, or Finance Business Partner role.

Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting experience.

Experience supporting complex projects or programmes.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge (SAP or similar ERP desirable).

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
