Project Manager required to join a growing specialist Civil Engineering and Geotechnical contractor with a substantial pipeline of secured and visible Network Rail work across the South of England. The business is experiencing significant growth through the CP7 framework, with a number of projects already secured or progressing through single-source negotiation. Schemes have increased significantly in size and complexity, creating an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of projects from development through to successful delivery.

Project Manager Salary & Benefits:
- £60,000 - £75,000 salary, dependent upon experience

Project Manager Job Overview:
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering and geotechnical projects
- Manage projects from pre-construction/development through to completion
- Lead Site Agents, Works Managers and site delivery teams
- Manage project programmes, resources, logistics and delivery strategy
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Network Rail and other key clients
- Take responsibility for project commercial performance and delivery of margin
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and specialist subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
- Oversee enabling works, earthworks, drainage, retaining structures and specialist geotechnical works
- Support possession and weekend works where required
- Provide leadership and support to the wider project team
Project Manager Job Requirements:
- Previous Project Management experience within Civil Engineering
- Strong background in earthworks, heavy civils and/or geotechnical engineering
- Rail / Network Rail experience highly advantageous
- Previous experience managing projects with significant operational and logistical requirements
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage project margins
- Excellent client-facing and leadership skills
- Civil Engineering or Geotechnical degree advantageous but not essential
- Appropriate CSCS qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to project travel
