The Role
Working within a busy fabrication department, you'll be responsible for setting, operating and occasionally programming CNC press brakes to manufacture precision sheet metal components to engineering drawings. This is a varied role where you'll produce both batch and bespoke one-off work, working with mild steel, stainless steel and galvanised materials ranging from approximately 0.9mm mesh through to 5mm plate. You'll be trusted to produce high-quality components while maintaining excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting and operating CNC press brakes
- Carrying out some machine programming where required
- Producing precision folded components from engineering drawings
- Working on both production runs and bespoke fabrications
- Processing a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel and galvanised steel
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet specification
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC press brakes
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience within sheet metal fabrication
- A strong eye for quality and accuracy
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience using Amada or LVD press brakes would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates with solid press brake experience gained on other CNC press brake machines are encouraged to apply, as full training will be provided on the company's operating systems.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 15:45, 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Overtime available after successful completion of training and probation.
