The freight forwarding sector within logistics is as busy as ever.

A freight forwarder is the middle person between the factory where goods are made and the retailer.

The freight forwarder will plan the route for the freight, for example if it comes from China, they will plan which ship to book the container on and the timings, some routes take longer but are cheaper and other routes are faster but cost more.

The containers and docking times etc can also change the costs.
