The role of the Estimator Facades will involve:

  • Estimator position dealing with various architectural external finishes inclusive of but not limited to GRC, brickslips, terracotta, renders, aluminium and HPL cladding.
  • Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements.
  • Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices.
  • Carrying out site surveys as and when required.
  • Producing formal quotations to clients.
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
  • Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Estimating for projects from £500k - £25m.

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Facades with:

  • Must have estimating experience within the cladding / façade / building envelope industry.
  • Strong understanding of rainscreen and curtain walling is highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of Onscreen Takeoff software package.
  • Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team.
  • High levels of organisation and excellent time management.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness.
