Customs clearance Coordinator ( mon-fri ) required for a Freight forwarder based in the Basildon area.

The role: This Customs coordinator will be part of the Customs team and will be on the day shift team working Mon-Fri.

Customs Coordinator role will include a range of duties including: Understand and execute the departments vision of good business development in order to successfully move Customs products Complete all Customs Import activities correctly and on time including financial, legal and invoicing transaction Correctly complete all customs import/export CDS declarations in line with UK HMRC regulations Ensure all operational activities are completed on time Immediately report any amendments to the customs declaration forms to line manager Complete ad-hoc and spot checks on customer entries and submit reports to line manager weekly As well as all the above, this role will include all the standard customs clearance duties.

Experience We are looking for a Customs coordinator/customs clearance coordinator with working experience of Exports/Imports and Customs Compliance and regulations (at least 2 years).

You will have Knowledge of customs requirements and formalities with particular focus on UK & EU imports.

You will also ideally have Experience in road transport, logistics or haulage (Desirable but not essential).
