A leading UK infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join its established pre-construction team based in Barnsley.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business delivering a diverse portfolio of rail and civil engineering projects across the UK.
You'll work alongside an experienced estimating team, preparing competitive tenders and playing a key role in securing major infrastructure schemes.
The Role
As an Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of rail and civil engineering projects.
Working closely with operational, commercial and design teams, you'll help develop winning tender submissions while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Requirements
Previous estimating experience within civil engineering, rail or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of estimating principles and tendering processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of an experienced pre-construction team.
