Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
A busy fabrication and engineering business is seeking an experienced CAD Designer 3D to join its office-based team.

Working closely with Project Managers, Structural Engineers and workshop teams, you will produce accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings and detailed manufacturing information for architectural and general metalwork projects.

Key Responsibilities
Produce approval, fabrication and erection drawings.

Create 3D models and 2D CAD drawings.

Produce General Arrangement drawings, assembly details and material schedules.

Interpret engineering calculations, specifications and design information.

Liaise with project managers and workshop teams to resolve drawing and fabrication queries.

Ensure drawings are accurate and delivered to project deadlines.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in 3D CAD design/draughting, ideally within metalwork, fabrication or construction.

Strong understanding of architectural/general metalwork and fabrication processes.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering information.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work to project deadlines.

Comfortable working collaboratively with project and workshop teams.

Autodesk Advance Steel experience is desirable but not essential.

Full-time, 5-day office-based position.
