Do you enjoy analysing data, spotting trends and helping to improve operational performance? We're recruiting for a Planning Analyst to join a global market-leading manufacturer, supporting production planning through data analysis, reporting and cross-functional collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your planning knowledge with your analytical skills, helping to drive operational performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality and Transport, you'll play a key role in supporting production planning, producing meaningful reports and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

The Role

  • Support production planning and provide scheduling cover when required
  • Produce and analyse KPI reports to support operational decision making
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve production performance
  • Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Transport and Customer Service teams
  • Support continuous improvement projects across the operation
  • Monitor production performance, stock and operational data
  • Coordinate production trials and planned maintenance activities
  • Help ensure production plans remain on track whilst responding to changing business priorities

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience within Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Production Control
  • A strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience producing reports and analysing data using Excel
  • Power BI experience would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across multiple departments
  • A proactive approach with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of ERP systems such as SAP would be advantageous, but not essential
