This is a varied and practical role where no two weeks are likely to be the same.
Typical duties include:
Undertaking construction site inspections and audits
Preparing and reviewing Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)
Preparing Pre-Construction Information (PCI)
Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Supporting contractors with their duties under CDM 2015
Advising clients, designers and contractors on construction health & safety matters
Working collaboratively with project teams to identify practical solutions to health & safety challenges
We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with people on site and provide sensible, practical advice, not simply quote regulations.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
Previous construction industry experience
Good understanding of construction activities and associated risks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good organisational and time-management skills
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Ability to produce professional reports and documentation
Confidence engaging with contractors, site managers, designers and clients
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to project sites
