We are seeking an experienced Paint / Coatings Sprayer to join our growing team in Atherton. Working within a heavy engineering environment, you will be responsible for the preparation, application and finishing of protective coating systems on a variety of fabricated and engineered components.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled coatings professional looking to join a well-established company offering stable, long-term employment and regular overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting and coating applications.
  • Apply industrial paint systems using spray equipment.
  • Mix and apply two-pack (2K) paint systems in accordance with specifications.
  • Apply protective coatings to engineered and fabricated steelwork.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Maintain spray equipment and work areas to a high standard.
  • Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Work effectively to production schedules and project deadlines.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in industrial paint spraying.
  • Experience working with two-pack (2K) paint systems.
  • Strong knowledge of paint spraying and coating application techniques.
  • Ability to interpret job specifications and follow coating procedures.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience applying coatings to structural steelwork.
  • ICATS qualification.
  • Experience within heavy engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or industrial environments.
