Join Strata Solicitors, on a 12 month fixed term contract, where you'll lead a high-performing motor recovery team responsible for recovering our clients' losses, directly impacting financial outcomes. Based in Blisworth, Northamptonshire, this role provides an exciting opportunity to coach and develop our claims handlers to deliver exceptional service.

In this role, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of a corporate client motor recovery team. You'll work closely with the management teams to deliver exceptional client service and achieve key targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of claims handlers, ensuring they meet client service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Acting as the key link between claims handlers and the management teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
  • Overseeing the documentation of recovery procedures and preparing for client service reviews.
  • Monitoring team performance, providing training, and addressing any issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Managing high-profile or contentious cases, ensuring quality standards are met and client outcomes are optimised.
  • Supporting financial targets by controlling the claim lifecycle and assisting with aged debt recovery.

About You

  • Experience in motor claims handling within a legal, insurance, or claims management environment, including pre-litigated claims.
  • Team management and people responsibility experience within a similar setting.
  • Proven experience working directly with clients, including hosting client meetings.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach, with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to accommodate unexpected situations.
