We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Bricklayer to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department working within our Ashington maintenance team.

Salary: £34,622 per annum

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Closing Date: 28th August 2026, 5PM

About the Role:

As a Multi Skilled Bricklayer, you will be responsible for undertaking all brickwork and damp remedial repairs and associated multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

Your Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target-driven environment. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to engage with all stakeholders, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia.

Essential:

  • You will have a sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and exhibit sound knowledge of the wider building construction sector, understanding components, materials, building trades, and applicable regulations.
  • It is essential that you hold a City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Bricklaying or the equivalent.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
  • You will also demonstrate experience of working in a customer-focused environment.

Desirable:

  • An appropriate CSCS card.
  • Experience of working within a commercial and domestic property maintenance environment.
