We work with schools, construction companies, commercial businesses, and public sector organisations, providing practical, high-quality consultancy services that genuinely protect people and organisations.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Health, Safety & Fire Consultant based in the South East of England.
About the RoleThis is a varied consultancy role working with a broad portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for delivering professional health, safety and fire safety support, including audits, inspections, risk assessments, fire risk assessments, policy development, training, and general compliance advice. The role involves a mixture of remote working, client visits, and site-based consultancy work across the South East, Kent, and London.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct health and safety audits and inspections
- Carry out Fire Risk Assessments
- Develop and review health and safety documentation
- Provide competent health and safety advice to clients
- Support clients with compliance strategies and action plans
- Deliver practical and commercially focused solutions
- Assist clients with accident investigations and regulatory matters
- Build strong professional relationships with clients
Applicants should have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate minimum (Diploma preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
- Experience within consultancy or multi-site environments
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification
- Membership of IOSH or IFE
- CSCS
- Fire Risk Assessment qualification and practical experience
- Strong working knowledge of UK Fire Safety legislation
- Experience within schools, construction, or commercial sectors
- CDM knowledge and experience
- Experience delivering training
- £50,000 - £60,000 salary depending on experience and qualifications
