Are you at the beginning of your marketing career and looking for a role where you can get involved in far more than one small part of marketing? Are you full of ideas, confident enough to share them, and keen to learn how successful campaigns generate genuine sales opportunities? Would you enjoy working across content, campaigns, events, outbound prospecting, and lead generation within a growing international technology business?

We are recruiting for a Growth Marketing Executive to join an established software company that provides digital publishing solutions to major newspaper and magazine brands around the world. This is a newly created position and an excellent opportunity for somebody who wants to build a broad foundation in growth marketing.

You may already have some early marketing experience through an internship, placement year, or your first role. Equally, you may be a recent graduate with a genuine interest in marketing, plenty of enthusiasm, and the confidence to get involved.

You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, who will set the overall marketing and growth strategy. Your role will be to help turn that strategy into practical, measurable activity that generates leads and builds the sales pipeline. This is not a role where you will be limited to one specialist area.

You will get involved in:

  • Creating and delivering email, paid, organic, and account-based marketing campaigns
  • Supporting demand generation across the UK and international markets
  • Researching target organisations and identifying relevant decision-makers
  • Running outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns
  • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads before passing them to the sales team
  • Developing case studies, blogs, whitepapers, and sales materials
  • Supporting webinars, conferences, and industry events
  • Helping to maintain consistent brand messaging
  • Recording and managing leads within the CRM
  • Monitoring campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and return on investment
  • Supporting relationships and joint campaigns with technology partners

The business works with large newspaper and magazine publishers across the UK, North America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, DACH, and Scandinavia.

You do not need to arrive with experience across every area. They are looking for someone who is:

  • Genuinely excited about building a career in marketing
  • Full of ideas, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Comfortable getting involved in a varied workload
  • Curious and keen to understand customers and their market
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with senior colleagues and sales teams
  • Comfortable using data to understand what is working
  • Willing to take ownership and follow activities through to completion

Experience with CRM systems, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, content creation, or campaign reporting would be helpful, but your attitude, ideas, and willingness to learn will be equally important.

This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office. You may also occasionally attend industry events outside normal working hours.

For somebody ambitious who wants exposure to the full marketing and lead-generation process, this is an opportunity to learn quickly, contribute ideas, and help shape a newly created role.
