The Role Youll support the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations, helping deliver a menu built around traditional British dishes, quality ingredients and steady service. The pub serves breakfast through to evening meals, so youll be involved across prep, service, ordering and maintaining standards.
What Youll Be Doing Preparing and delivering traditional British dishes to a consistent standard
Running a section confidently during busy services
Supporting with stock rotation, ordering and waste control
Maintaining hygiene, temperature checks and due-diligence paperwork
Helping train junior staff and keeping the kitchen organised
Working closely with FOH to ensure smooth service and menu availability
What Were Looking For Solid background in pub, restaurant or contract catering kitchens
Calm operator with good organisation and communication
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Someone reliable, steady and team-focused
Ability to work independently and support the wider team when needed
