Hours, Pay and Benefits
- £55,000 - £60,000 base salary

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead and develop the quality assurance and compliance activities and oversee the HR and Health & Safety functions. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining management systems, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive culture across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and Company-wide operational teams to ensure that Quality standards and Health & Safety performance remain at the highest level.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience of Quality management or Quality engineering, understanding customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Able to balance business objectives with quality and compliance needs and view quality from the customer's perspective.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to explain quality requirements clearly to different audiences and influence stakeholders. Build a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility, motivate teams to maintain standards and improve performance.
- Analytical thinker, with a process-oriented mindset to solve problems and identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Create concise reports, procedures and processes.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Full driving license with willingness to travel on occasions.
Desirable Experience:
- ISO 17025:2017 awareness, Internal or Lead Auditor training, H&S experience
Key Responsibilities
- ISO 9001:2015 - QMS Maintenance & Improvement: Overseeing the establishment, implementation, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Audit: Planning and leading effective audit programs, conducting root-cause analyses for non-conformities, and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Compliance Management: ensure Compliance activities are followed, and all Company Policies are maintained.
- Risk & Interested Parties: Helping the organisation assess quality risks and identifying the expectations of stakeholders.
- External Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact for customer complaints, supplier quality issues, and third-party certification bodies.
- Performance Evaluation: Tracking quality metrics and reporting to senior management so they can effectively evaluate QMS performance and commitment.
- Health & Safety: To oversee the Health and Safety requirements both internally and by customers.
- HR: Work closely with Senior Management and external consultants to ensure compliant HR policies and processes.
