About the role: As a HGV Delivery Driver at DFS, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of furniture to and from our customer delivery centres, ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the delivery experience. Working as part of a delivery team, you will transport products from distribution centres to customers, handle goods with care, and support the loading and unloading of vehicles. You will carry out vehicle safety checks, comply with all driving and transport regulations, and help create a positive final impression of the DFS brand by delivering exceptional service.

- Shifts: 44 hrs per week Monday to Friday, flexible start times but AM starts (can be anywhere between 04:00 - 09:00) with the occasional night out

What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out all deliveries to company distribution centres in a safe, timely, and professional manner, ensuring furniture arrives undamaged.
- Coordinating effectively with internal teams and following scheduled routes and timelines to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Unloading furniture and materials carefully at the designated locations within the distribution centres.
- Maintaining a clean working environment by ensuring all packaging and waste is handled appropriately.
- Representing DFS and our brand partners by upholding our standards of professionalism and reliability.
- Performing daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any issues or defects to your line manager immediately.
- Adhering to all driving regulations as defined by law, as well as company policies and procedures.
We're looking for someone who:
- Valid Class 1 HGV drivers license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- You have strong time management and teamwork skills.
- You're dependable, safety-conscious, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
- You're comfortable working in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- You enjoy a hands-on role with physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy furniture.
- You're flexible and adaptable to a varied schedule and tasks.
