Know Payroll but want to Progress?
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator or Assistant to join a small, friendly team in a large successful family owned business.
You will work closely with the Senior Payroll Officer supporting the delivery of 3 weekly payrolls and 1 monthly payroll. Initially, you will assist with payroll processing and gain a full understanding of systems and processes.
Over time, you will take increasing responsibility and will be expected to take turns running payrolls independently, with support available from the wider team.
This role is suited to someone with solid payroll experience who is looking to step up and take ownership within a stable, in-house payroll environment.
This is a fully office-based role suited to someone with solid payroll experience who is confident running payroll processes from start to finish.
What will YOU be doing?
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls end-to-end
- Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
- Maintaining accurate payroll records
Who will YOU be?
- 2+ years payroll experience
- Experience supporting or running full payroll cycles
- Comfortable working under deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, accountability and confidentiality
- Use of i-Trent desirable but not essential

This is not a trainee or purely administrative role or bureau-processing role applicants must be confident handling payroll processes.
Candidates must live in a reasonable commute of Wilmslow/Alderley Edge.
