Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. Our public sector client is looking for a temporary employee to join their team as an admin officer. This is initially a temporary role until January 2026. There may be chance of an extension, but this will be down to business need. This is a full-time role, Monday β Friday, 37 hours per week. Usual working hours will be 9-5. The pay rate for this role is Β£12.36, this will increase to Β£12.53 at week 12 β paid on a weekly basis. This role is fully office based, due to the nature of the work. The office is located at GU1 4PS. In this role you will be supporting with administrative tasks that come alongside the family and civil courts. Your day to day duties will include: Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings. Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input. Post opening and dispatch. Communications via email, letters, face to face and telephone Standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions etc, according to guidelines and instructions. Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards. Ad hoc admin β photocopying, scanning, filing etc The successful candidate for the role will have 12-18 months of admin experience within a workplace.
