We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Chef Manager to join a busy school catering team in the Surrey area. This is an excellent opportunity to start in mid-August with a structured training period, with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of a school kitchen
  • Plan and deliver healthy, nutritious meals for pupils
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a school kitchen environment (essential)
  • Chef Manager or senior catering experience
  • Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and compliance
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
