Mechanical Inspectors (CMM & Manual) - Permanent (Senior or Junior) 2 great opportunities for Mechanical Inspectors to join this established, growing subcontract precision engineering business.

The role involves inspecting high-precision, complex components using both CMM and manual methods.

You'll benefit from an excellent working environment, training and premium-rate overtime.

What you'll be doing Inspect mechanical parts and assemblies to ensure they meet drawing and quality requirements.

Carry out manual inspection using gauges, micrometres and other precision measuring equipment.

Complete and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

Operate CMM equipment to confirm product conformity.

Programme CMM routines where required (PC-DMIS preferred; training available).

Work with Engineering and Production to resolve inspection findings and non-conformances.

The two positions: Senior/Experienced Mechanical Inspector: proven inspection background with confidence across manual inspection, FAIRs and CMM programming.

Inspector: candidates with a solid foundation in mechanical inspection-possibly gained through machining , an apprenticeship or a shop-floor manufacturing background-who are keen to develop into a full inspector role.

Training and mentoring will be provided.

What we're looking for Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.

Manual measurement experience (gauges, micrometres) and ability to interpret engineering drawings (GD&T knowledge beneficial).

CMM programming experience for senior level; willingness to learn for junior level.

PC-DMIS programming experience preferred (training available).

These are permanent jobs with starting salaries dependant on experience.

You must have current UK right to work to be considered.
