Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Office Coordinator / Administrator with a strong focus on tender support.
This role is primarily office-based in Peterborough, with limited flexibility for occasional remote work once established.
The position is suitable only for UK-based candidates located locally to Peterborough.
Applications from candidates based outside the UK or far from Peterborough will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support tender documentation, compliance and submissions
- Track deadlines and ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time
- Liaise with clients, councils and suppliers via phone and email
- Format documents and complete tender questionnaires
- Provide general office administration and coordination support
- Manage job booking, calendars and scheduling (secondary responsibility)
- Support invoice processing and supplier documentation (administrative support only)
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Essential Requirements
- UK-based candidate, located locally to Peterborough (required)
- Availability to work primarily from the office
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong experience in office administration / office coordination
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience supporting tenders or bids
- Experience in construction, engineering or professional services
