We are seeking a reliable and professional Foodservice Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products — fresh, frozen, and ambient — to our customers across Kent and London. This role is ideal for drivers with a 3.5t–12t licence, who are committed to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely, including 3.5t–12t vans and trucks.
- Deliver foodservice products to restaurants, cafés, pubs, schools, and care homes.
- Load and unload deliveries safely, ensuring goods are secure and handled according to health and safety regulations.
- Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently, meeting delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Report vehicle issues, accidents, or route problems promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Assist with warehouse or yard duties as required (e.g., vehicle checks, stock handling).
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence with entitlement to drive 3.5t–12t vehicles (LGV licence preferred if 12t).
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred, ideally in foodservice or FMCG.
- Physically fit and capable of loading/unloading heavy goods using pallet trucks or trolleys.
- Excellent time management and route planning skills.
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle checks and compliance with road safety regulations.
Hours: 6am till 4pm, Sunday to Thursday (overtime Friday and Saturday). Driving multi-drop around Kent and London.
