About the Opportunity

This is not a typical Executive Assistant role. We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ambition, intelligence, and drive to become a key part of a growing and highly successful sports travel and events business. This is an opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to learn directly from an experienced entrepreneur, gain exposure to all areas of a business, and play a significant role in its future success. The successful candidate will be a true superstar in the making, someone who thrives on responsibility, embraces challenges, and wants to contribute far beyond traditional administrative support. As the business continues to grow, there will be significant opportunities for career progression, increased earnings, and the potential to acquire equity within the company.

The Role

Working directly alongside the Director, you will be involved in virtually every aspect of the business, supporting the delivery of world‑class sports tours, events and travel experiences for clients across the globe. This is a varied, fast‑paced, and hands‑on position that will provide exposure to operations, sales, finance, event management, marketing, supplier negotiations and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director in all aspects of the business, including operational and financial management.
  • Provide executive support and assist in driving business growth initiatives.
  • Support the sales and operations teams throughout the entire life‑cycle of tours and events, from initial enquiry to delivery.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Negotiate with hotels, venues, transport providers and international suppliers to secure the best rates and service levels.
  • Coordinate and confirm all tour and event arrangements, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance and audit requirements across tours and services.
  • Support marketing activities, including social media management, agency liaison, content creation and the utilisation of AI tools.
  • Play a key role in planning, promoting, managing and delivering events both in the UK and internationally.
  • Assist with managing domestic and international travel arrangements for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and destination partners worldwide.
  • Produce management reports and business information to support decision‑making.
  • Travel regularly both within the UK and internationally to support tours, events, client inspection visits and operational requirements.
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required.

About You

We are looking for an individual with exceptional potential rather than extensive experience. You will likely be a recent graduate or early in your professional career, eager to learn, develop and make a meaningful impact within a growing business.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree educated or educated to A‑Level standard with an excellent academic record.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Strong commercial awareness and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends when required.

Desirable Attributes

  • Passion for sport, travel and events.
  • Experience gained through sports clubs, societies, volunteering, travel or leadership positions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to contribute to business growth.
  • Confidence working with people at all levels.
  • Interest in marketing, social media, AI technologies and business operations.

What's on Offer?

  • £30,000 basic salary.
  • Performance‑related bonus and benefits package worth up to £5,000 per annum.
  • Extensive UK and international travel opportunities.
  • Direct mentorship from the business owner and leadership team.
  • Exposure to all areas of a growing business.
  • Genuine career progression opportunities.
  • Future increased earning potential as responsibilities grow.
  • Potential opportunity to acquire equity and become a key stakeholder in the business.
  • A unique chance to build a long‑term career within a highly respected sports travel and events company.

If you are ambitious, academically strong, passionate about sport and travel, and looking for a career‑defining opportunity rather than just a job, we would love to hear from you.
