We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy recycling centre based in DA11.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring HGV vehicles are weighed accurately and site records are maintained efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Weighing HGV vehicles entering and leaving the recycling centre.
- Recording accurate vehicle weights using the weighbridge system.
- Issuing weighbridge tickets and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Liaising with HGV drivers and site personnel in a professional manner.
- Ensuring all vehicle movements are processed efficiently.
- Responding to telephone calls and general enquiries.
- Completing general administration duties as required.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous weighbridge experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous administration or data entry experience would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and proactive.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the location of the site
