All Square Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader for our client based in Colchester, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company with the potential for a permanent contract and career progression.
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a busy dispatch department, overseeing daily activities and supporting your team.
Key Responsibilities:

Manual Handling: Regularly lifting items up to 25kg, ensuring safe practices are followed.

Forklift Operation: Operating a forklift in a busy yard and warehouse environment. Applicants must hold a current Counterbalance or Reach Licence.

Team Supervision: Guiding and supporting a team of forklift drivers and warehouse operatives, delegating tasks effectively.

Workflow Management: Overseeing the picking, packing, and dispatch process to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Documentation: Verifying and completing dispatch notes and other essential paperwork accurately. Basic handwriting must be of an acceptable standard.

Safety Compliance: Ensuring all team members adhere to strict safety guidelines and company policies at all times.

Inventory Management: Assisting with stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Training & Development: Assisting with the training of new team members and supporting ongoing development within the team.
What does this role offer?

The opportunity to earn a permanent contract.

Regular overtime during the week and on Saturdays.

Overtime paid at x1.25 and x1.5.

Upon transfer to a permanent contract, your pay will increase to 30,200 per annum.

Weekly pay during your temporary assignment.
Shift Details:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 4:30 pm or 10am till 6pm
