We are currently recruiting a proactive Warehouse Supervisor for a growing DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) supply chain operations. This role requires a dedicated leader to manage activities across our two sites in Frinton and Little Bentley. You will act as the vital link between the warehouse floor and the office team to ensure peak operational efficiency. Because our client is expanding rapidly, we need a supervisor who can maintain high standards while navigating a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, you will take full ownership of the daily output and safety of your team.
Responsibilities
- Multi-Site Management: You will oversee the daily operations of both the Frinton and Little Bentley warehouses.
- Team Leadership: You will supervise a team of Warehouse Operatives. Therefore, you will be responsible for staff motivation, training, and performance management.
- Operational Flow: You will coordinate with the Logistics Administrator to prioritise order sheets and manage shipping deadlines effectively.
- Inventory Control: You will take responsibility for stock accuracy. Additionally, you will ensure the team uses handheld scanners and Warehouse Management Software (WMS) correctly.
- Health & Safety: You will implement and enforce all safety protocols across both sites to ensure a compliant working environment.
- Problem Solving: You will resolve any operational bottlenecks or inventory discrepancies as they arise.
- Warehouse Upkeep: You will ensure that both sites remain organised, clean, and fully stocked with necessary packing materials.
Skills and Requirements
- Supervisory Experience: You must possess previous experience in a warehouse leadership role.
- IT Competency: You must be highly proficient in using Warehouse Management Software and general office IT systems.
- Communication: You need excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with management and direct reports.
- Driving Licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport to move between our two locations daily.
