Toolmaker

All Square Recruitment are hiring a Toolmaker for a reputable employer based in Clacton, Essex. This role offers a clear path to Operations Manager, with hands-on training and increased earning potential. Toolmaker – Responsibilities * Repair and modify injection mould tools * Design and manufacture new tools from scratch * Read and interpret technical drawings with precision * Operate manual machines – mills, lathes, and grinders * Work with spark eroders and wire eroders to meet exacting standards Required Skills and Experience * Proven experience in injection mould toolmaking * Strong manual machining skills (mills, lathes, grinders) * Expertise with manual spark eroders (essential) * Wire eroder experience (preferred, but training provided) * CAD proficiency – ideally SolidWorks or AutoCAD (Autodesk) * Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems (a plus) * CNC milling experience with Mazak, Mazatrol, Bridgeport, or Heidenhain * A proactive, self-motivated approach with a drive to learn and grow What’s on offer? * £35,000 – £45,000 salary (DOE) * 25 days’ annual leave * Health & wellbeing programme * Corporate membership at a local Gym & Spa * Free on-site parking Working Hours Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
