All Square Recruitment are working with a leading engineering firm in Chelmsford looking to expand their quality team on the night shift. If you’re confident in inspection, testing, and compliance within an AS9100 environment, this could be the role for you! Quality Inspector – Responsibilities * Inspect & test aerospace components to ensure compliance with AS9100 & ISO9001. * Review & verify subcontract purchase orders and incoming certifications. * Conduct FAIRs, qualification tests & final release activities, including COFC sign-off. * Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, CMMs, shadowgraphs) to ensure accuracy. * Maintain traceability, batch control & FOD compliance. * Monitor subcontractor performance and support quality improvement initiatives. * Handle customer & supplier interactions regarding quality concerns. Required Skills and Experience * Experience in quality inspection within aerospace or precision engineering. * Strong understanding of AS9100 & ISO9001 quality standards. * Proficiency with precision measurement instruments. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * A detail-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills. * Willingness to work night shifts. Quality Inspector – Benefits * Competitive salary – £40,000 to £46,000 per annum * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. * Flexible start/finish times & early finish on Fridays. * Overtime available Monday to Friday at competitive rates. * Annual bonus scheme linked to company profits & performance targets
