About the Role
All Square Recruitment is excited to partner with a specialist manufacturing business based in Marks Tey, Colchester, to recruit dedicated Production Operatives to join their assembly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on, detailed work to secure a temp-to-perm role with sociable weekday hours, with a permanent position available after 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble kits and component parts accurately in line with production specifications and work instructions.
- Assemble and prepare gaskets to a consistently high standard of quality.
- Carry out fine, dextrous assembly tasks that require precision and a steady hand.
- Inspect completed assemblies for defects, ensuring all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Work efficiently in order to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the wider production team to maintain a smooth, organised workflow.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, keeping the work area clean, safe, and tidy.
- Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly work is highly desirable.
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small parts and components with care.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and product quality.
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
- Comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently.
- Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
