We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Professional to join a premier engineering firm in Harlow. Specialising in high-precision components for the aerospace, marine, and defence sectors, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end production of complex parts using Mazak multi-axis machines. This is a dedicated late-shift role, offering a compressed 39-hour working week, allowing for a consistent three-day weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, Operate, and Program: Full autonomy over Mazak CNC Lathes or Milling centres.
- Programming: Online programming using Mazatrol controls to produce small-to-medium batch components.
- Precision: Working to extremely tight tolerances (microns) often associated with aerospace and engine components.
- Materials: Experience machining a variety of materials, including exotics and high-grade alloys.
- Quality Control: Self-inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment (Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges).
Technical Requirements
- Mazak Expertise: Proven experience with Mazatrol control systems is essential.
- Technical Background: A strong background in precision engineering or toolmaking.
