All Square Recruitment are working with a market leader in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated drive-through car wash systems. We are hiring a professional and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role offering independence, variety, and strong long-term development.
Location Focus: Darlington, York and Cleveland
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults, minimising equipment downtime
- Deliver professional, courteous service to clients at all times
- Work independently while managing time and service tasks efficiently
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly
- Communicate progress and updates to the Regional Service Manager
- Develop confidence using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office tools
Key Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering background, either via formal training or hands-on experience
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on the road
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexible approach to travel and varied working environments
- Full UK driving licence is essential
