Field Service Engineer Location: North London Area Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum Company: Leading provider of automated systems and mechanical equipment Are you an experienced mechanical engineer looking for a new challenge with a forward-thinking company? Our client, a market leader in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated systems and mechanical equipment, and we are seeking a professional Field Service Engineer to oversee installation and maintenance in the North London area. Post Codes include: AL,WD,EN,N,E,IG,NW Key Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment on customer sites. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, providing effective solutions and ensuring minimal downtime. * Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous approach with clients. * Work independently while managing your time and tasks effectively, with occasional collaboration with team members. * Complete all service reports and paperwork accurately and promptly. * Report to the regional service manager on progress and updates. * Develop proficiency with IT systems, especially Microsoft Office products Key Requirements: * A background in mechanical engineering or mechanical diagnostic/repairs, either through formal qualification or hands-on experience. * Self-motivated and able to work independently in various locations. * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a polite and professional manner when dealing with clients. * Flexibility to travel and work on the road as part of the role. * A full UK driving licence is essential.
