We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a fast-growing Supply Chain specialist based in Frinton, Essex. This is a hands-on, varied role within a modern distribution environment. It is perfect for someone who is tech-savvy and enjoys a mix of physical and administrative tasks. As the business continues to scale, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customer orders move accurately and efficiently. Furthermore, you will help maintain the high standards of the entire warehouse operation.

The Warehouse Operative role will involve:

  • Packing Goods: You will safely and efficiently pack customer orders to a high standard.
  • Manual Handling: You will move, lift, and organise stock within the warehouse environment daily.
  • Inventory Management: You will use handheld scanners to track stock. Additionally, you will print and apply labels to all outgoing goods.
  • Data Entry: You will upload shipment and stock information directly into the Warehouse Management Software (WMS).
  • Customer Support: You will respond to customer emails and resolve delivery or stock queries professionally.
  • Multi-Site Operations: You will work between the main hub in Frinton and a secondary site in Little Bentley.
  • Warehouse Upkeep: You will ensure the workspace stays clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Skills and Requirements:

  • IT Competency: You must feel comfortable using computers and warehouse software. Because this is a digital-first role, IT skills are essential.
  • Communication: You need excellent written English skills so you can respond effectively to customer emails.
  • Driving Licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport to travel between the two sites.
  • Physical Fitness: You will need the capability to manage manual handling tasks and stand for the duration of your shift.
