A great opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team of a leading engineering firm in Chelmsford, Essex. All Square Recruitment are hiring this role on behalf of our client on a temp to perm basis. You will be responsible for supporting the flow of materials through the facility, from intake to dispatch, ensuring production teams have exactly what they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handling and moving materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Managing manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Assisting with the intake of new stock and ensuring it is stored correctly.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role.
- Competence in manual handling and a good level of physical fitness.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and stock counting.
- A reliable and hard-working attitude with the ability to work independently.
