On behalf of our prestigious client in Chelmsford, All Square Recruitment is seeking a motivated CNC Turner for a dedicated evening shift. This position offers a significant salary premium and is ideal for a technician who enjoys autonomy and a four-day working week. You will play a vital role in ensuring production continuity for mission-critical components. Shift Pattern * Monday to Thursday: 15:00 โ€“ 01:15 * Friday: OFF (Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week) Key Responsibilities * Operational Continuity: Setting and operating Nakamura and Citizen sliding head lathes to manufacture parts according to the production plan. * Quality Excellence: Taking ownership of โ€œfirst-offโ€ and in-process inspections to ensure all components meet the highest quality standards. * Independent Management: Managing the workload effectively during evening hours, ensuring all quality records and documentation are accurately maintained. * Maintenance: Performing routine machine checks and maintaining a tidy workspace in compliance with company procedures. Requirements * Technical experience in CNC turning, with a firm commitment to quality and attention to detail. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team. Note: This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machine-minding experience looking to progress into a Setter/Programmer role through structured training
