All Square Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative with a focus on Picking and Packing to join a friendly team in Basildon. This is a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfilment: Accountable for all picking and packing tasks, accurately receiving and checking orders against packing lists to prepare items for dispatch.
  • Inventory & Quality: Conduct weekly 'on hold' stock checks and perform quality checking for all stock returns.
  • Documentation: Prepare manual or scanned entry packing lists and ensure all articles are placed in their correct location.
  • Customer Focus: Be accountable for meeting customers' specific requirements for their orders.
  • Team Support: Assist the Assistant Logistics Manager in day-to-day operations, supporting the department's vision for good business development.

The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented to reduce "miss-packs," self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial but not essential if you can demonstrate a keen willingness to learn and a commitment to accuracy.

Please Note: All applicants who are progressed to interview stage will be required to have a DBS check completed (at no expense to the applicant).

Monday to Friday 8:15 am – 5:00 pm (45-minute unpaid lunch break)
