All Square Recruitment is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a growing company in Colchester, Essex.
This is a full-time Night Shift, temporary-to-permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal fabrication diagrams.
- Working to precise specifications to ensure high-quality output.
- Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Utilising hand and power tools for general assembly tasks.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to optimise production processes.
- Manual handling, which may involve some heavy lifting.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Participating in full training and induction programs.
What We\βre Looking For
We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven experience in sheet metal work, fabrication, or a similar assembly/production role.
- Confidence and proficiency in using sheet metal tools and machinery (e.g., brakes, shears, drills, grinders).
- A strong ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and instructions, particularly those related to sheet metal components.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills.
Shift Details
Monday to Friday (Weekday and Saturday Overtime available β Up to Β£18.78 per hour!)
10pm till 6am β Β£16.67 per hour starting rate
