About The Role
All Square Recruitment is excited to partner with a specialist manufacturing business based in Marks Tey, Colchester, to recruit dedicated Production Operatives to join their assembly team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands‑on, detailed work to secure a temp‑to‑perm role with sociable weekday hours, with a permanent position available after 12 weeks. Furthermore, the role offers genuine long‑term stability within a supportive production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble kits and component parts accurately in line with production specifications and work instructions.
- Assemble and prepare gaskets to a consistently high standard of quality.
- Carry out fine, dextrous assembly tasks that require precision and a steady hand.
- Inspect completed assemblies for defects, ensuring all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Work efficiently in order to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the wider production team to maintain a smooth, organised workflow.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, keeping the work area clean, safe, and tidy.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly work is highly desirable.
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small parts and components with care.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and product quality.
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
- Comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently.
- Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
