At All.Space, we are redefining connectivity.
We are developing next-generation antenna systems that transform satellite communications, and we’re looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated Principal RF Systems Engineer to help us make it happen. This is a senior, hands-on role for an expert in RFIC circuit-level design, particularly in millimeter-wave (mmWave) applications (10–30 GHz), to lead the architecture, design, and integration of advanced RF systems that will power the future of global connectivity.
Why Join All.Space?
At All.Space, you’ll work with some of the brightest minds in the industry to push the boundaries of what’s possible in satellite communications. We value innovation, precision, and collaboration. If you’re ready to lead at the cutting edge of RF engineering and contribute to projects that have global impact, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Define and manage complex integrated RF ASICs and ICs through all phases of development.
- Set system-level architecture and specifications for mmWave RF systems, including transceivers, phased arrays, beamforming front ends, and high-frequency PLLs.
- Establish boundary specifications and interfaces between RF chain blocks, digital domains, and antenna elements.
- Translate system requirements into RFIC-level block specs (LNAs, mixers, VCOs, PAs, filters, etc.).
- Drive and review circuit design and layout of mmWave building blocks using advanced CMOS technologies.
- Collaborate with RFIC designers, package engineers, antenna designers, and digital/firmware teams to deliver co-optimized, production-ready RF systems.
- Execute silicon bring-up, validation, and debug in lab and production environments using advanced RF test equipment.
- Manage external subcontractors to ensure timely, high-performance designs.
- Lead internal resources to meet key design milestones.
- Align IC design and roadmaps with system-level requirements and future platform architectures.
- Support the definition of product RF system line-ups in line with bespoke IC development.
What You Bring
Essential:
- Proven track record of taking complex mmWave ICs from concept to high-volume production in a commercial environment.
- Deep understanding of analog and RF circuit design (LNAs, mixers, phase shifters, VCOs, PAs, op-amps, etc.), including noise, linearity, and impedance matching.
- Strong experience in low-level transistor design for high-frequency/RF circuits.
- Adept at leading and working within cross-functional project teams.
- In-depth experience executing system-on-chip (SoC) development.
- High proficiency with RF test equipment: signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Expertise in RF system calibration, beamforming, and phased array antenna integration.
Desirable:
- HFSS simulation capability for evaluating chip implementation on boards, packaging, and wire-bonding.
- Stock Options
- Contributory Pension Scheme
- 25 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays
- Cycle-to-Work Scheme
- Car Scheme (Salary Sacrifice)
- Free On-Site Gym
- Employee Assistance Programs
- Discounts Platform
