Contract Type: Long-term, Short-term and Day-to-day available

Salary: Β£92.59 - Β£96.59 per day (negotiable, depending on experience)

The Supply Register is excited to announce our partnership with Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi-Academy Company and is looking to recruit experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support schools across the Trust on a day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis. Whether you have previous experience working in schools or transferable skills gained through youth work, care, support work, coaching or similar roles, we would love to hear from you. We have opportunities to suit your availability, including full-time, part-time, long-term and day-to-day assignments across primary and secondary schools within Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi-Academy Company.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SENDCOs and wider school teams to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). You will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every pupil is supported to thrive academically, socially and personally.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally supporting those with Special Educational Needs.
  • Experience within a classroom, care, youth work, residential or support setting is desirable.
  • A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High expectations of all pupils and a commitment to promoting inclusion and positive outcomes.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCOs and wider school staff.
  • A commitment to supporting the values and ethos of Catholic education.
