This part‑time role starts in January 2027 (or sooner) and involves teaching Maths to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and inspirational in the classroom, motivating and supporting students to achieve their best outcomes. They will bring strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge, monitor and track student progress using data, and collaborate closely with the Maths team on curriculum and assessment.

Early Career Teacher (ECT) candidates should have completed a PGCE or SCITT course and be looking to secure a good school to start their ECT induction. We provide ongoing professional development (CPD) both in‑house and through the Calderdale & Kirklees Teaching Hub, covering all aspects of teaching, learning and leadership.

Qualifications & Experience
  • PGCE or SCITT qualification, with the intention of starting ECT induction.
  • Strong subject knowledge of Maths at KS3/KS4 level.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and ability to use data to monitor student progress.
  • Proactive collaboration with the Maths team and school staff.
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and practices of the school.
