Position Overview:

All Saints CEVA Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Higher Level Teaching Assistant. There will be support and opportunities for training. The successful applicant will be a creative primary practitioner who is passionate about children with the highest expectations and a determination to enable them to achieve their full potential. Experience of teaching whole classes as well as supporting children to achieve their potential and targets is ideal, as well as experience of a range of the primary phase.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide teacher release, working with whole classes from Reception to Year 6.
  • Have the skills and aptitude needed, and the commitment to the belief that each child deserves every opportunity to achieve their full potential.
  • A broad knowledge and understanding of learning strategies to enhance pupil learning.
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
  • Be firmly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and members of the school family.
  • Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload.

Hours & Working Conditions:

Hours of work: 8:30 - 4:00 and 8:30 - 4:45 on Thursday to attend staff meeting. Full time 32.5 hours per week - but would consider a 4-day contract.
