Scale: 1 scp 3 – £24,796 per annum pro rata.
15 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 3:00‑6:00 pm, term‑time only.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic, kind and patient Play Leader for our after-school provision.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and play with the children, organising fun activities and ensuring their safety at all times.
- Create a positive, engaging environment for children in the club, including those with special educational needs.
- Inspire and motivate children.
- Be flexible and organised.
- Supportive and committed whole‑school staff team.
- Fabulous, well‑behaved and enthusiastic children.
- A caring, nurturing ethos where every child is celebrated for being an individual.
- Have experience relevant to the role.
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
- Have a thorough understanding of safeguarding children.
- Have experience working with and planning recreational activities for children aged 3‑11.
- Be able to work on one’s own initiative.
- Hold a food hygiene certificate (or be willing to undertake the training).
