Description of Job
We are currently seeking a Youth Worker to join the current youth and Sunday School teams. The role involves leading the youth group, actively participating in Sunday youth work, and encouraging and inspiring team members. Our vision is to see young people on fire for God, moving in the power of the Spirit.
- Leading the youth group and participating in the Sunday school rota, inspiring team members.
- Teaching the youth group (mainly teenagers) and Sunday school (ages 10-18) biweekly, helping young people grow in faith and become disciples of Jesus, reaching out to their peers.
- Sharing our vision for young people through Bible-centered teaching, inspiring and empowering them.
- Identifying and developing the gifts and talents of young people, encouraging active participation in church life.
- Providing pastoral support, mentoring young people, and communicating with families when necessary.
- Participating in outreach activities in the local community, including community events.
- Creating and managing rotas for Sunday School and handling permission forms for children and youth.
About All Saints Church
All Saints is a family-friendly Anglican church located on Chevallier Street, Ipswich. We have around 50 members and weekly attendance of 50-60 across two services, with 30-40% under 18 at the second service. Our mission is to honor and serve God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) wholeheartedly. We aim to extend God\'s Kingdom through the Good News of Jesus, offering salvation to all. We desire for God\'s worship to be continuous, shaping our way of life.
