About you
We are looking for a Catering Assistant to support the School Cook in providing a varied and balanced diet for children during their lunch time.
Responsibilities
- Support the School Cook in preparing lunch for children.
- Ensure food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Keep the kitchen and food areas clean and organised.
- Work efficiently within scheduled time slots.
- Follow the trust’s food hygiene and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Passion for tasty and healthy meals for children.
- Team player who works closely with like-minded people.
- Excellent understanding of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
- Positive role model to children.
- Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage; full training will be provided.
