Opportunity to join the All Saints Academy team! D&T Technician - Part Time (18.25 hours per week, Term Time Only)

Our school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic D&T Technician to support our vibrant Design & Technology department. This role is central to helping pupils enjoy creative, hands‑on learning in a safe and well‑organised environment.

Your role will involve:

  • Preparing and setting up materials, workshops and equipment for practical lessons
  • Supporting teachers and pupils during lessons to assist with materials, practical lessons and demonstrations
  • Maintaining and undertaking basic repairs to apparatus, machinery and equipment or arranging repairs by approved contractors
  • Helping maintain a safe working environment, including routine equipment checks, COSHH checklists and risk assessments
  • Ordering and organising materials and resources
  • Providing general administrative and technical support to the department
  • Undertaking basic First Aid training
