Unique Employment Services Ltd is currently recruiting for a Battery Test Technician on behalf of our client located in Bedford. This well-established company, known for its strong reputation in the field, is expanding its battery test technician team.
The role involves the following duties:
- Operate battery testing facilities
- Perform basic facility breakdown diagnostics
- Operate and configure basic automation tests
- Ensure all operating procedures are followed
Key skills required include awareness of electrical automotive high voltage systems, mechanical assembly skills, ability to read schematics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Applicants should have a qualification in Engineering or extensive experience in automotive engineering, automotive repair, or heavy truck electronics. We seek a motivated team player with flexibility to travel, the ability to achieve SC clearance (must have lived in the UK for the last five years), a full UK driving license, and the ability to pass a criminal record check.
The salary range is £35,000-40,000, with a rolling shift pattern.
