Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Operator / Delivery Driver to join their busy and supportive team based in Raymond Terrace. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The business is a well-established local retailer specialising in pet, produce, garden, livestock, and rural supplies.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am β 4:00pm
Duties Include:
- Operating a forklift to unload trucks and move stock throughout the warehouse
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Delivering customer orders in a safe and professional manner
- General warehouse duties
- Assisting with stock control and maintaining a clean work environment
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Current Forklift Licence β essential
- Previous warehouse or delivery driving experience
- Ability to perform manual handling and lift up to 20kg
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
